Welcome to the website for Grace Church in New Market, Maryland. Our new location is at 5740 Green  Valley Road, just north of exit 62 from Interstate 70.

There is a great deal of excitement here at the present time as a result of realizing the dream of moving into our new church home. At long last our church and Sunday school classes will be in the same building, one that offers many amenities that were not possible in our old church. These include bathrooms, hot and cold running water and modern heat and air conditioning, and ample parking. Additionally, our offices and worship space are side by side.

Grace Church is a House of Prayer and Welcome for any who would like to join us. We have also provided much exterior lighting and ample parking making it a safe space for everyone.  A ramp  into the house/office building,  make us ADA compliant for those in need of a little assistance has completed our project.

We use the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer as our primary liturgical resource and occasionally use the variety of Supplemental Liturgical Texts for special services and events. We also use a variety of music resources to enhance our worship with song.  

At present we gather for worship on Sunday mornings at 8:30 and 10:00. The early service is either Morning Prayer or Holy Eucharist, a quiet service without music. At 10:00 we always celebrate the Holy Eucharist. At this service we sing joyfully and the children – who have been in Sunday school through the Liturgy of the Word  - join their families for the Liturgy of the Table.
